INGREDIENTS:


  • Dried amla fruit - 1cup
  • Mehndi powder- 1 teaspoon
  • Tea Powder- 1teaspoon
  • Egg white of 1 egg
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • Olive oil -1 teaspoon


Method of preparation:


  1. Boil the dried amla with some water for 5 minutes.
  2. Grind it with mixer and make it to paste.
  3. Add lime juice, mehndi powder, tea powder, egg white and olive oil to this paste.
  4. Mix it well.
  5. Wet the hair slightly and apply this paste on the hair with the help of hair brush.
  6. Allow it for dry 1 to 2 hours.
  7. After that wash your hair thoroughly.

Amla is a rare fruit and it contains all tastes except salt. It is known as 'Sarvadhosahara', which means remover of all diseases. The unripe fruits are light green. It is also known as Indian gooseberry. This forms an important constituent for more than 300 ayurvedic products. The active ingredient of amla are gallic acid structures attached to the vitamin C. It is a cheapest and highly nutritious fruit available anywhere. Yogasana For Back Pain

Salabhasana or Shalavasana

 Name of the pose is Locust pose. Shalav means Locust. Like locust lower part of the body raised from backward is called Shalavasana. It is an excellent asana for back pain.
steps to be practiced


  1. Lie on the yoga mat  prone with legs closed together.
  2. Rest your chin on the mat place the arms straight under the thighs with palms downward.
  3. Raise legs together slowly.
  4. Stay in this position for few seconds in normal breathing and come back to the original position.
  5. Repeat this 2-3 times.

Coriander (Dhaniya)



Coriander is an annual, ancient, aromatic, stimulant and medicinal herb which grows upto 50 cm height. Although its origin is Southern Europe and Middle East Asia, it widely grown and used allover the world. Coriander leaves are mainly used in chutneys, salads, sauces, curries, rasam, sambar and garnishing the food items. From ancient times, this has been used as food and medicine. All parts of this plant is edible but the fresh leaves and the dry seeds are the parts which are mainly used. The fresh leaves are used in many Indian foods, Chinese dishes and Mexican curries. Dried seeds are roasted and then are made into tea, this tea is used to treat stomach problems like blotting, headaches, nausea and cough.

Hibiscus Rosa-Sinensis commonly known as hibiscus flower is widely grown as ornamental plant in all continents except Antarctica. It is a good remedy without any harmful side effects and of least cost which has been used in siddha, ayurvedha and unani medical systems for many years.

நம் நாட்டில் ஊட்டி,கொடைக்கானல்,பண்ணைக்காடு,குன்னூர் ஆகிய மலை பிரதேசங்களில் கிடைக்ககூடிய பேசன்(passion) பழம் மிகவும் அற்புதமான மருத்துவகுணம் கொண்ட பழம்ஆகும்.இப்பழம் கொடி வகையைச் சேர்ந்தது.15 முதல் 20 அடி வரை வளரக்கூடியது .இதன் வாழ்நாள் 5முதல் 7 வருடங்கள் ஆகும் .  இந்த பழங்களில் மஞ்சள் ,வயலெட் ஆகிய இரண்டு நிறங்கள் உண்டு .இப்பழம் உருண்டை வடிவத்தில் இருந்து ஓவல் வடிவத்தில் இருக்கும் .இதன் தோல் மெழுகு தடவியது போல் பிளாஸ்டிக் மாதரி இருக்கும் .இப்பழத்தின் உள்ளே கருப்பு நிற சின்ன சின்ன விதைகளும் ஜெல்லி மாதரி பகுதியும் இருக்கும் .இப்பழத்தில் நார்ச்சத்து அதிகமாகஇருப்பதால் இரத்தத்தில் உள்ள சர்க்கரை .இரத்த கொழுப்பு ஆகியவற்றை குறைக்கும்.சர்க்கரை வியாதி உள்ளவர்கள் தினமும் காலையில் வெறும் வயிற்றில் ஒரு  பழத்தை சாப்பிட்டால் சர்க்கரை நோய் கட்டுபாட்டில் இருக்கும்.ஒரு பழத்தில் 348 மில்லிகிராம் பொட்டாசியம் சத்து இருப்பதால் அதிக இரத்தஅழுத்தத்தை குறைக்கும்.இருதய துடிப்பை சீறாக்கும் வாய் மற்றும் நுரையீரல் புற்றுநோய் வராமல் தடுக்கும்.இப்பழத்தில் மேலும் வைட்டமின் A,வைட்டமின் C, B COMPLEX,பொட்டாசியம்,கால்சியம்,மெக்னீஸியம்,பீட்டா கரோட்டின் ஆகிய சதுக்கள் நிறைந்து உள்ளன்.`இப்பழத்தை உண்டால் நோய் எதிர்ப்பு சக்தி அதிகமாகி தொற்று நோய்கள் வராமல் தடுக்கும் .இத்தகைய மருத்துவகுணம் நிறைந்த இப் பழத்தை நாம் உண்டால் இரத்த சர்க்கரை ,இரத்த கொழுப்பு ,இரத்த அழுத்தம் ஆகியவை கட்டுப்பாட்டில் இருக்கும் .

Honey is natural cure for diarrhea,stomach related problems,sore-throats,coughs,anemia,skin rejuvenation,insomnia,for wounds and cuts. Its anti-inflammatory action reduces the swelling and pain. This is a good disinfecting agent which kills the germs and heals the wounds. It is golden liquid which is better substitute for sugar.

The common fig tree is grown for its edible fruit throughout the temperate world.This was first cultivated in Egypt and is one of the known ancient food.The fig fruit can be eaten fresh or dry.This is commonly available in dried form as it cannot be stored for long days as raw because of its perishable nature.The raw fruit is soft,sweet,pulpy,juicy and delicious fruit full of small seeds that promotes health.Dried figs are richest source of calcium,potassium,magnesium,copper,dietary fiber,vitamin K and smaller amount of many other nutrients.This increases the blood plasma's antioxidant capacity using its antioxidant property.Vitamin K is the coagulation vitamin which decides the coagulation time of blood, as fig has Vitamin K in it, this improves coagulation of blood.It regulates the blood pressure and protects the heart from cardiovascular diseases.This prevents weakening of bones and also renal diseases.Even though this is sweet, diabetic,heart and BP patients can add this to their diet daily in spite of  its medicinal value.This strengthens the nerves.This can be taken in the form of jams and fruit salads also.
