Yogasana For Back Pain
Salabhasana or Shalavasana
Name of the pose is Locust pose. Shalav means Locust. Like locust lower part of the body raised from backward is called Shalavasana. It is an excellent asana for back pain.
steps to be practiced
- Lie on the yoga mat prone with legs closed together.
- Rest your chin on the mat place the arms straight under the thighs with palms downward.
- Raise legs together slowly.
- Stay in this position for few seconds in normal breathing and come back to the original position.
- Repeat this 2-3 times.
