Mango Leaves
Mango, a summer fruit is the king of Asian fruits. We are all aware of the benefits of mango fruit, but we are not much aware about benefits of mango leaves. Mango leaves are available in everywhere without cost.

Mango leaves are packed with full of nutrients, phytochemicals, vitamins like Vitamin A, B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), Vitamin C, phytonutrients, flavonoids, caffeic acid, gallic acid,mangaferin ,tannin,phenols,antioxidants,fiber content, medicinal and curative properties.

In take of mango leaves helps to
  • Reduce the high blood sugar levels in diabetic patients through enhancing the insulin production and glucose distribution, because of its anti diabetic property and its compound mangaferin. It will not cause hypoglycemia
  • Reduce the LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein) cholesterol i.e., bad cholesterol because of its dietary fiber content and anti-hyperlipidimic property
  • Lower the high blood pressure because of its antihypertensive property 
  • Prevent the growth of free radicals and toxins and that can damage the DNA in the body
  • Lower the urination in night 
  • Remove blurred vision, being high in content of vitamin A that maintains eye health in diabetic retinopathy..

How to use mango leaves?
  • Take 10 to 15 fresh tender mango leaves in pan, add glass of water to it, allow it boil  and switch off the stove place the lid keep it for overnight. Filter this mixture the next morning and drink it in the empty stomach daily for 2 months.
  • You can prepare decoction from mango leaves powder. Decoction of the mango leaves can be used as herbal mouth wash for bleeding gums.
  • You can prepare tea from mango leaves. For that, take 3 to 5 mango leaves in a container, add one glass of water boil it and let it reduce to half and strain it. Add some boiled milk and honey or jaggery mix it well. Serve it hotly.
  • Mango leaves juice with honey .
  • Burnt mango leaves powder will help relieve the toothache.
